Dear Evergreen Summer Camp family,

As you all know, we are in the midst of a global pandemic. The CDC recently recommended that all gatherings over 50 people be canceled or postponed for the next 8 weeks or more. All schools in Long Island have shut down and we do not know how long this crisis will last.
Through much prayer and discussion, our church community has come to the conclusion that the COVID-19 matter may potentially go on for months to come. That is what many of the government officials and experts are saying right now. Therefore, Evergreen Church has made the difficult decision to cancel summer camp this year.
First and foremost, our decision was based on our belief that the safety and health of our children matter most. We believe it is best to err on the side of caution. It is our prayer that this crisis will subside quickly, and life will return to normal.
Moreover, we will be in prayer for all our Evergreen summer camp families. I truly hope that we can see all of you back next year for a fun and exciting camp.
We will be sending out full refunds for the families that have either made a deposit or paid the tuition in full. Please stay safe and may God be with us all.
