Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Dear Evergreen Family,

The WHO has declared the covid-19 to be a pandemic. New York state has also declared an emergency situation and banned any gathering of over 50 people be canceled or postponed. Nassau county has closed all schools for the next 2 weeks.
Therefore, in an attempt to protect our congregation as well as the surrounding community, Evergreen Church has made the difficult decision to turn our regular services into online worship for the next two weeks (until March 29, 2020 at which time, the elders will gather to reassess the situation). That means Wednesday evening and all Sunday services will be offered online only.

Summary:

  1. March 22, 29 Lord’s Day service will be offered ONLINE ONLY.
  2. March 18, 25 Wednesday service will be offered ONLINE ONLY.
  3. Dawn prayer services will continue offline as usual (Saturday dawn prayer will be held in Zion Sanctuary)

It is my prayer that God’s hand of protection be upon Evergreen Church as well as our members, their families, businesses, and workplaces.
